Brock Berlin to Get 1st Start for Rams

After suffering a setback in his recovery from a concussion, Marc Bulger will sit out Sunday's game for St. Louis against Cincinnati.

This paves the way for Brock Berlin to get his first start. Berlin has not yet attempted a pass in a regular season game in the NFL.

The 26-year-old Brock Berlin was only recently activated from the practice squad on November 27th. The University of Miami graduate has spent time with both Miami and Dallas, along with the Hamburg Sea Devils in NFL Europe.

After practice, Brock Berlin stayed longer and threw passes to several of the Ram receivers. Afterwards in the locker room, star receiver Torry Holt spent a few mintues with Berlin at his locker.

"We were chatting just in case," Holt said. "We were going over some things; just trying to have some clarity. ... I thought he looked good in practice. Brock has a big arm. We'll see how it goes."

This is Brock Berlin's time to shine, so we'll see if he makes the most of it.
